Spring starts off all Black. Yes, that's right, Black. Up here the Black Bear wake up from their long winter nap and they have a great big appetite. Enjoy taking pictures of the wild Black Bear from the comfort of our Dining Room. Yes, the Bear will walk right up to our windows - PLEASE REMEMBER THESE ARE WILD BLACK BEAR. The Lodge enjoys the Bear right into the warm days of Summer and the cool nights of Fall.

Also in the spring, the fishermen are eager and ready to go to their lucky spot on the many lakes in the area. They choose from array of fish such as Crappie, Northern Walleye, and Brown Trout. Summer brings warm days and nights with a northern breeze off Lake Superior, just right for 4-wheeling, Mountain Biking, or Paint Ball Games. We'll have Mountain Bike Rentals available at the Lodge for your convenience.

In Fall, the Countryside explodes into a fireball of color. Treat yourself and your family to a breathtaking view from Lake of the Clouds, a National Tourist Attraction in the Porcupine Mountain State Park, just minutes away from the Lodge.

In late fall, hunters come to Ontonagon County to field dress some of the largest Whitetail Deer in the heart of the last great Wilderness of the Midwest. We can help you get to the right area. Make your Reservations early.

Winter means snow. We get our share of powder being in Big Snow Country and with the Lake Effect Snow that the Northeast winds blow. Snowmobile Trail #12 is 500 yards from the Lodges front door with Trailer parking available.

Let's not forget the cross-country Skiers out our back door, or the downhill Skiers on the slopes of the Porkies just minutes away. You're invited to our home for an energy packed vacation or a very quiet weekend getaway.
